Meet Carlee – Founder of Caravan Classroom

Hi, I’m Carlee - a qualified teacher, home schooling mum, and the creator of Caravan Classroom.

I hold a Bachelor of Education, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and I’m registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. I’ve spent years developing and delivering curriculum-mapped programs in classrooms, and now I’m putting that experience to work in a very different setting: on the road, home schooling my own children while travelling Australia.

A Teacher. A Parent. A Traveller - Just Like You.

More importantly, I understand life on the road because I am living it. My family and I have been on the road for almost two years now, and we are loving this time together. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to step away from mainstream education, even temporarily, and I also know how important it is to maintain clarity, confidence, and curriculum continuity while you're on the move.

Caravan Classroom was created to support families like ours: those who are home schooling just for a little while, with every intention of returning to mainstream school. I wanted to take the stress out of planning, give families structure without rigidity, and help you make the most of this special time - without sacrificing your child’s education.

I hope these plans give you the same sense of confidence and peace of mind they’ve given our family - and that they help you feel supported, capable, and excited about what’s ahead.
