A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM CARLEE

Hi families,

Firstly, thank you for being here and sharing our journey.

My family and I are currently enjoying the beautiful Western Australian coast, and it is really living up to the hype! Western Australia has been on our bucket list for a long time, and we are having several pinch-me moments as we spot each new beach, bay and landmark for the very first time.

Our family recently visited Perth and I must say, the public transport system is amazing. I loved how easy it was to use, with options to pay by card, cash, or through an account linked to the transport network. It made exploring the city simple and stress-free for travelling families.

Some of the highlights of our visit included The Perth Mint, Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA), WA Museum Boola Bardip and, of course, Fremantle Prison. Each location offered incredible learning opportunities and reminded me just how valuable travel can be as part of a home school journey.

While in Perth, we also attended the Anzac Day march, which was a very special experience. Coming from a regional town, I had never experienced an Anzac Day march on such a large scale before. It was truly spectacular, emotional, and filled with deep respect for our veterans, ADF personnel, and emergency services. It was one of those moments that will stay with our family for many years to come.

I also want to give a special mention to those families who have reached out, recommended, tagged or supported Caravan Classroom. As a small online business, your recommendations truly mean the world, and I am so grateful for the support I have received.

Not long ago, I was so humbled to meet my first Caravan Classroom family in person while travelling. Ironically, we have bumped into each other quite a few times since, and it has been wonderful making new friends along the way. I also received a message recently from a parent who is considering Caravan Classroom after it was recommended by another travelling family who was camped in the site next to them - this is so heartwarming to hear, and it truly motivates me to keep improving what I do.
